Rasa Partin began his film career in the documentary world shooting illegal street racing internationally. Making a detour along the way to establish a music record label and lifestyle company he found his way back to cinematography as he began shooting music videos. While earning a MFA in Cinematography from The American Film Institute (AFI) he was awarded the Panavision Grant and the Tom Yoda Scholarship and his thesis competed in Camerimage, Poland.
His nomadic upbringing, from England to NYC to India, gives him a unique appreciation of life, loss, culture, struggle and storytelling. Before working solely as a cinematographer, he worked professionally in G&E and Camera with world-class department heads for cinematographers such as Emmanuel Lubezki and Roman Vasyanov.
He currently enjoys shooting features, commercials and music videos with wonderful directors and crews while based in Los Angeles.
